Dining Hall
Our Dining Hall is where we serve meals and also functions as a great meeting space for large groups. The Dining Hall also has multi-stall restrooms and sound system equipment available for groups to use and our local cook team prepares a group's meals on-site in our commercial kitchen. Special dietary needs are welcome!
Cedar hill
Cedar Hill is another building great for groups who need a large meeting space and can be used for worship services or meetings. Cedar Hill contains four "hotel-style" rooms, three upstairs and one downstairs. Each room contains two queen-sized beds, a nightstand, a table, and its own bathroom. The three rooms upstairs are separated by a common area furnished with couches. These rooms would be perfect for the leader, worship team, and speaker of a group.
Retreat center
Our Retreat Center is used for larger groups and has a central meeting room and two housing wings. Each wing will sleep up to forty people, for a total of eighty all within one building, and each has its own large shower and restroom area.
Cabins
Our Cabins can accommodate groups both large and small and offer a traditional summer camp experience. There are twelve Cabins total and each can sleep up to ten people on bunk beds and have a built-in shower and restroom area.
Tree House
The Tree House is another one of our sleeping facilities and is made of four separate cabins. Each cabin holds ten beds along with a shower and restroom area, so altogether the tree house can sleep forty people. The Tree House is accessible by ramps and contains an upper deck and a lower deck which is illuminated by string lights at night.
Speaker Cabins
Our Speaker Cabins are great for group leaders, guest speakers, band members, or special guests attending an event with a group. We have two Speaker's Cabins, both can accommodate four people and offer a hotel style experience.
Gym and arcade
Our Gymnasium is set up for full-court basketball and also contains large wooden bleachers. Connected to the gym is the arcade, which contains video games, couches, vending machines, restrooms, and free-to-play games. Some games are quarter-operated, so groups would need to bring quarters or small bills to use in our change machines in order to play.
adventure course
Our Adventure Course is made up of a High and Low Ropes Course, Rock Wall, Zip Line, and our alpine swing called the Vomit Comet. Activities at the Adventure Course can be enjoyed by any age as long as they are comfortable and able to participate, however, children with a height under 48 inches will require adult assistance on the Ropes Course. All are staff led and supervised for the group's safety.
playground
Our Playground area is a great recreational spot and contains a playground, gaga ball pit, tether ball, sand volleyball court, concrete half basketball court, pavilion, and a large open field for big group games.
pool
Located next to our Gym, our Pool is a great activity for groups during the warm weather. It is a saltwater pool with the deepest being four feet deep and contains a cabana area with chairs and picnic tables.
lake
Our 50 acre lake is great for canoeing, fishing, or nature walks. We provide life jackets, boats, and paddles.
office
Our Office building not only functions as our office, but is where groups check in at the beginning of their stay and is also an additional meeting space. Typical office hours are from 8:00 - 4:00, Monday through Friday. If you have any questions, please contact us at (205) 662-8798 or at [email protected].
timber treats
Located in our Dining Hall, Timber Treats is our snack and souvenir shop where we sell items like ice cream, milkshakes, snacks, t-shirts, coffee mugs, and other similar items. Groups can request Timberlake staff to open Timber Treats as one of their activities.
craft barn
Another one of our meeting spaces is the Craft Barn, located behind the Dining Hall. This building is also perfect for groups who are wanting to do crafts during their stay at Timberlake.
Fire Pits
Timberlake has two fire pits that groups can use for a campfire, one is located behind our Retreat Center and the other is located behind Cabin #1. Both have a designated area for a campfire and seating around the campfire. Permission must be given before groups can use the firepits and groups need to bring their own firewood.
